The Story of Nelson by WHG Kingston
Admiral Viscount Horatio Nelson has reached legendary status in England. Nelson was a heroic admiral of the British Navy during the Napoleonic Wars. Due to his efforts, the Battle of Trafalgar was secured by England, effectually defeating Napoleon's plans that involved the French Navy. Some historians conjecture that if Nelson had lost at Trafalgar, Napoleon would have used the French Navy to invade the fledgling Americas. With the condition of our army and navy at that time, the result would have been sure; you and I would be speaking French! WHG Kingston wrote this in the form of a sea yarn, told by one of Nelson's officers throughout his long career in the British Navy. This is a valuable aid to anyone seeking to learn about Admiral Nelson. 27 Pages packed with information.
